Emma Raducanu wraps up this year's campaign and will keep coach for 2026.

The British player made it to the third stage in three of the four major tournaments in the current campaign.

Emma Raducanu from Great Britain has withdrawn from her final two events this season because of a medical condition that has affected her in recent days.

The 22-year-old had planned to participate in tournaments in Tokyo and Hong Kong but opted to return home to regain her health before starting next year's training.

These plans will involve trainer Francisco Roig, as they have decided to continue collaborating in 2026.

The tennis professional had her blood pressure taken during her first-round match against Ann Li in Wuhan last week and stopped playing when trailing 6-1 4-1 on an oppressively humid day.

She needed once more a visit from the doctor at this week's Ningbo Open, where she fell in a three-set match to Chinese wildcard Zhu Lin in the first round.

Raducanu was also moving far from freely in the final set versus Zhu due to back discomfort that has affected her during parts of the season.

Those results followed a positive campaign, in which Raducanu rose into the top 30 globally after more than three years since her previous ranking, concluded with three straight losses.

The athlete was close to victory with three match points prior to falling to Jessica Pegula in the third stage in last month's Beijing event.

She secured twenty-eight matches during 2025 and advanced to the semis in the Washington tournament, but the highlight of her season was at the Miami event in March.

As Britain's top player made the last eight of the WTA 1000 event, overcoming Emma Navarro, the eighth seed on the way prior to a loss in three sets to Pegula, ranked fourth.

She worked with Mark Petchey from the Miami event through Wimbledon, with Roig assuming the role for the US Open.

The initial agreement with the ex-coach of Rafael Nadal was through the season's conclusion but the collaboration persists, with a training block pencilled in for the end of the year.

The athlete revealed that the trial session with Roig after Wimbledon was like a "black ops mission" as they tried to keep the meeting secret.

She nearly succeeded to beating world number one Aryna Sabalenka at their first tournament together in August's Cincinnati tournament.

Roig was also with Raducanu in New York, where she reached the third round before being beaten by Elena Rybakina, the 2022 Wimbledon winner.
