Locating the Venezuela-linked Vessel 'Pursued' by the US Coast Guard

A uniquely yellow-fronted apartment block in the background assisted us locate the video.
Our team is checking images and video posted earlier today that depict the scene of a reported car bomb explosion that authorities in Russia state fatally injured a senior soldier in Moscow.
Russian authorities stated that Lt Gen Fanil Sarvarov was inside the car that detonated and that he succumbed to his wounds. An investigation is currently ongoing.
Our starting point to check the location from which the pictures were from relied on social media reports saying the explosion happened on Yasenevaya Street in the southern part of the capital city of Russia.
Our analysis employed panoramic mapping services on Google Maps and the Russian search engine Yandex to corroborate the unique yellow hue of a adjacent apartment building captured in the footage.
Locating additional structures, lamp-posts and the road configuration confirmed where the pictures were captured.
We also checked that the videos were new and that the visuals had not undergone digital alteration.
