The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut
This young athlete boasts substantial social media following
The young golfer will have plenty of well-known cheerleaders as she starts her professional golf debut later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to a former US president, received a special exemption to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
The former president, someone who loves golf, operates numerous international courses and often plays against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she stated.
She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"He essentially advised me to play and have fun," she continued.
"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with world affairs, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
Being non-professional, Kai has played in just three tournaments in 2024 and holds ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.
But she can seek guidance from golf legend, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He is the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.
"And he's an even better individual. He suggested me to compete, enjoy myself, adapting to whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against multiple the biggest names in women's golf at the competition, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers mentioned that her participation helps introduce golf to wider groups, particularly among younger fans.
The social media influencer maintains a massive following and recently launched a personal clothing and lifestyle label.
She begins at 17:30 GMT.
